surprising that Restream doesn't already do it... Given the pretty crazy prices of this software. This should be basic, given the basic functionality.

Backstage Video Upload & Management Area in Restream Studio - During Livestream
Al
During a live broadcast in Restream Studio, hosts often need to upload new video assets (e.g., intro clips, transitions, sponsor reels, or last-minute content).
Currently, any newly uploaded video appears directly inside the live asset list, creating a risk of accidentally showing it on screen before it’s ready.

I would like to be able to bring in a image, video, or screen share and have it ready below at the side so that I can add it to the live screen when I'm ready, instead of it automatically going on screen when I bring it in.

Preview / Program Mode in Restream Studio
B
Brian
Requesting a preview-only (off-air) mode in Restream Studio similar to OBS, allowing creators to prepare and update scenes, media, and layouts without them being visible to the live audience.
Use cases include:
Updating or swapping videos during a live session without exposing content early
Preparing scenes in advance while a stream is live
More professional broadcast workflows for advanced users
Nice-to-have / future consideration:
Support for external hardware switchers (e.g., ATEM Mini)
Clear Preview vs Program separation for scene switching
This would greatly improve Studio usability for professional and advanced broadcasters.

Pre-Position Slides Before Going Live in Studio
Restream user
Summary
Add the ability for presenters to select or pre-position a specific slide in an uploaded presentation (PDF/slide deck) before switching the scene live in Restream Studio.
Current Behavior
When a presentation file is uploaded in Studio, the presenter can only navigate through slides once the scene is already active/on screen.
This forces users to either quickly click through slides during a live broadcast (which looks unprofessional) or upload multiple versions of the same presentation starting at different points.
Workarounds like screen sharing allow pre-positioning but don’t integrate as smoothly with Studio’s presentation tools.
Requested Behavior
Allow presenters to advance or pre-select a specific slide while the scene is still off-air/in preview.
When switching to that scene live, the audience would immediately see the chosen slide instead of always starting at slide 1.
Use Case
A presenter uploads a 6-slide deck but wants to begin their live presentation at slide 3.
With this feature, they could advance to slide 3 in the Studio interface before going live.
This avoids awkward on-air navigation and gives presenters better control of how their content appears to the audience.
Impact
Smoother, more professional live presentations.
Removes the need for clunky workarounds like creating duplicate files or relying on screen sharing.
Improves Studio’s usability for business and education users who rely on multi-page decks.

Not able to edit scenes without showing LIVE during streaming.. Please let us edit the scene before it gets streamed. Having an option of Edit preview and SAVE button will be helpful.
